Program Research

South Carolina has identified peer support as one of four primary treatment interventions every parent in crisis needs. The Parents Anonymous® Peer Support Model is the oldest and most researched parenting support models in the United States.

Parents Anonymous® is listed on the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare as a relevant program model for parent partner programs for families involved with Child Welfare Systems and relevant for interventions for abusive behaviors.

Parents Anonymous® is also included on the ACES Too High website, as a program model that helps mitigate the effects of trauma on adults and children.
